On 21 September 2026, the Faculty of Philology of the University of Belgrade, where Jasmina Mihajlović graduated, will host a public lecture and conversation between Russian philosopher Andrei Makarov and writer Jasmina Mihajlović entitled “Don’t Fear Death, Fear Unread Dreams.” The conversation with the audience will explore philosophical and literary perspectives on the phenomenon of dreams — dreams as a space of imagination, memory, another reality, and a possible dialogue between worlds. A special place in the conversation will be devoted to the work of Milorad Pavić, in whose writing dreams, waking reality, time, death, and the boundaries between worlds continually intertwine. The Claire Delaunay Trilogy Is Complete
9 September 2026 With the publication of A Second Life in Grenoble, the trilogy I published under my literary pseudonym Claire Delaunay is now complete. The trilogy consists of three illustrated novels, each with a different genre, tone and rhythm: Passage, In Between and A Second Life in Grenoble. A COLLABORATION THAT CONTINUES: MILORAD PAVIĆ AND JASMINA MIHAJLOVIĆ
The professional collaboration between Milorad Pavić and Jasmina Mihajlović began long before their marriage. One of their first major joint projects was the preparation of a bibliography for Pavić’s Collected Works published by Prosveta. Jasmina Mihajlović compiled “A Contribution to the Bibliography of Milorad Pavić,” published in 1990 in The Anchorite in New York, as part of the Collected Works, and subsequently issued as a separate publication by Prosveta in 1991. The bibliography covered Pavić’s books, translations, scholarly and theoretical works, literary texts published in periodicals from 1964 to 1990, and writings about his work from 1952 to 1990. The Second Novel In The Trilogy – Between – Is Now Online
One month after the publication of Passage, Between, the second novel in the trilogy I write under the pseudonym Claire Delaunay, is now available on my literary website. One man recognizes her. The other asks her nothing. Between them, she does not choose love. She chooses herself. Between is not a divide. Between is where life happens. The novel is available to read free of charge, accompanied by illustrations, at jasminamihajlovic.com. The third and final novel in the trilogy, Second Life, will be published in September.

A Journey Through Time: Students Visit the Milorad Pavić Legacy
Today, students of the 6th and 7th grades of “Braća Baruh” Elementary School, led by their history teacher Radica Miljaković Avramović, visited the Milorad Pavić Legacy, located near the school. Mrs. Jasmina Mihajlović welcomed them, showed them around the legacy, and spoke about the life and work of our great writer. The children showed great interest in Pavić’s work and recorded a video as part of their project “A Journey Through Time”. When did you start writing / when did you become a writer? Very late! Not before university. And my first works were scientific. I never wrote poetry or prose in my youth. I loved reading, that was all. I wanted to be near literature in any capacity available to me. I did not publish my first piece of fiction until I was forty! Before that, I had published exclusively works of history and literary science. My first book was essentially theoretical. Of course, those who study literature scientifically are also writers.
