Jasmina Mihajlovi\u0107 was born in Ni\u0161, Serbia. She is a writer and literary critic. She graduated in 1987 from the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade \u2014 Department of Yugoslav Literatures and General Literature. Since 1987 she has been teaching literature in secondary schools in Belgrade; from 1989 to 1991 she was an associate of the Institute for Literature and Art in Belgrade on the project \u201e\u0421\u0440\u043f\u0441\u043a\u0430 \u043a\u045a\u0438\u0436\u0435\u0432\u043d\u0430 \u043a\u0440\u0438\u0442\u0438\u043a\u0430”, and from 1991 until August 1999 she was the director of the Council for the Promotion of Serbian Culture in the World, at the World Serbian Community based in Geneva. <\/p>\n

Since 1999 she has been a freelance artist. She is a member of the Serbian Literary Society. She was elected an honorary member of the Kyiv scientific journal  “\u041c\u043e\u0432\u0430 \u0442\u0430 \u0456\u0441\u0442\u043e\u0440\u0456\u044f” (\u201eLanguage and History”, scientific journal). She wrote columns for the magazines \u201e\u041b\u0438\u0441\u0430”, \u201e\u0413\u0440\u0430\u0434”, \u201e\u0408\u0430\u0441\u043c\u0438\u043d”, \u201e\u0411\u0430\u0437\u0430\u0440”, \u201eFame”, \u201e\u041e\u043d\u0430”.
